Institutions are made and unmade by individuals. It is the genius, character, quality, vision and efforts of individuals which determine the nature, dynamism and the inspiring image of the institution. The genius, visionary, leader among men, Brahamarshi, Padamabhushan, Pandit Shripad Damodar Satavlekar [ 1867-1968 ] founded Swadhyay Mandal in 1918, nurtured it and brought it to its eminence. The Mandal, therefore bears an indelible stamp of this individual- extra-ordinary, affectionately addressed as “Panditji”.

You will be amazed to know this great personality and his stupendous, awe-inspiring achievements.
